All malignant diseases of the lungs, pleura and mediastinum are treated at the University Thoracic Oncology Centre at the University Hospital.
Experts from all specialist disciplines work together in a multidisciplinary team:
Pneumology - Thoracic Surgery - Oncology - Radiology - Nuclear Medicine - Pathology
All necessary diagnostic and therapeutic equipment is available:
- Bronchoscopy (navigated from summer 2026) incl. endobronchial ultrasound
- PET/CT and other imaging procedures
- DaVinci 5 - the most modern robotic operating system
This enables us to offer an optimised treatment concept that is tailored to the patient's needs with the help of the infrastructure of a maximum care provider and under the umbrella of the CCCU.
