For the Department of Nuclear Medicine (Medical Director: Prof. Dr A. Beer) at Ulm University Hospital, we are looking to recruit the following as soon as possible
Assistant medical staff (f/m/d)
The Department of Nuclear Medicine provides the University Hospital Ulm and its affiliated hospitals with the entire range of diagnostic and therapeutic services using open radioactive drugs. The clinic has a PET/CT, SPECT/CT and three other gamma camera systems, as well as a small animal PET. A PET/MR is operated as a core facility in co-operation with the Department of Radiology. The Radiopharmacy is equipped with a cyclotron and radiopharmaceutical GMP laboratories for the production of a variety of radiopharmaceuticals. We carry out all common therapies with open radionuclides, in particular radioiodine therapy and PRRT as well as PSMA RLT, at our extended, currently expanded and renovated therapy ward.
Together with the Department of Radiology (Director Prof. Dr Meinrad Beer), the Department of Nuclear Medicine forms the Centre for Imaging at Ulm University Hospital. There are regular rotations of nuclear medicine and radiology training assistants in the field of sectional imaging and hybrid imaging.
In science and teaching, our focus is on multiparametric molecular imaging. The Medical Physics working group (Prof. G. Glatting) has nationally and internationally recognised expertise. We work closely with the Core Facility Small Animal Imaging and are successfully involved in several research networks, such as the BMBF-funded joint project "QuE-MRT" and the SFB 1279 "Pepini".

After familiarisation and instruction, we will assign you tasks in patient care and in the area of activity of medical-technical assistants and medical physics in nuclear medicine. We welcome graduates from all school and university disciplines who enjoy working in a patient- and technically orientated environment. You will have the opportunity to familiarise yourself with the fields of medicine, technology, radiation protection, pharmacy and medical physics as well as the legal framework, methods of medical imaging and the tasks involved in various professions.
