What does the implementation of integrative care at the UKU offer?
Since 2021 , integrative care applications for inpatients with an oncological focus have been offered on two wards at Ulm University Hospital - CCCU.
The programme is part of the IMPLEMENT-UKU project.
Integrative care applications are understood to be external, naturopathic applications of medical and health care, such as
- compresses,
- compresses
- embrocations, etc.
The applications are carried out by integrative care experts who can be requested on a consultancy basis.
The implementation of the integrative care programme is being evaluated in accompanying scientific research and analysed in terms of
- Acceptance,
- feasibility
- implementation conditions
- Perceptions
- experiences
analysed from various perspectives. The views of patients receiving integrative nursing care, their relatives and employees at the UKU are included.
