The Centre
The Centre for Rare Diseases (ZSE) is part of the University Medical Centre Ulm and the Medical Faculty of Ulm University. It comprises a consortium of numerous clinics and institutes that concern themselves with rare diseases. The ZSE's main purpose is to function as contact point for affected patients and their treating doctors.

The ZSE Ulm is a member of the Competence Centre for Rare Diseases, which is funded by the State Ministry Baden-Württemberg.
